Xuezhi Bai graduated from Nanjing University and Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has worked at Institute of Oceanology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Florida State University, University of Michigan, and then at Hohai University. His research experience includes ocean-atmosphere interaction, ocean circulation modeling and coupled ice-ocean modelling. His current research is on ocean and sea ice dynamics and polar extreme events.
Fei Chai has been a faculty member at the University of Maine since 1994. Dr. Chai studies physical and biological processes contributing to global carbon cycle and climate variability affecting marine ecosystems and fisheries. Dr. Chai is an expert in developing and testing physical-biological models, and using models along with in situ and remote sensing observational data to address key regional and global questions and issues. Starting in 2016, Dr. Chai has been appointed as the Director of State Key Laboratory of Satellite Ocean Environment Dynamics (SOED) at Second Institute of Oceanography, State Oceanic Administration (SOA) in China. Dr. Chai serves as committee member for several international scientific organizations and programs, prompting interdisciplinary and collaborative research projects.
Chen Cheng graduated from Hohai University. He is working at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. His research experience is focused on the ice shelf-ocean-sea ice dynamic system in Antarctic. His current research is on the Ice Shelf Water plume processes and its influences.
Xuhua Cheng was graduated from Nanjing Institute of Meteorology and South China Sea Institute of Oceanology (SCSIO). He has worked at SCSIO and Hohai University. His research experience includes sea level change, ocean circulation, tropical ocean waves and oceanic mesoscale variability. His current research is on ocean bottom pressure change and mass conserved ocean model.
