Ruibo Lei graduated from Hohai University and Dalian University of Technology. He has worked at the Polar Research Institute of China since 2010. His research experience includes develop technologies for sea ice observations, sea ice physics, and polar air-sea-ice interaction studies. His current research is on sea ice physics and sea ice remote sensing in the Polar Regions, and assessing on the accessibility of Arctic sea routes.
Bingrui Li graduated from Ocean University of China. He has worked at wave-current interaction, internal wave and mixing, and then at polar ocean process. His research experience includes tide simulation and analysis in China Sea, ocean wave and current interactions, ocean internal wave progress, breaking and mixing based spectral model et al. His current research is on polar ocean process and ice-ocean interaction, through field observations and numerical simulation.
Chengyan Liu graduated from Ocean University of China. He has worked at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology. His research experience includes development of a high resolution coupled regional ocean-sea ice-ice shelf model, and Antarctic ocean-air-sea ice-ice shelf interaction studies. His current research is on the intrusions of modified circumpolar deep water onto the continental shelf in Prydz Bay and consequent influences on the Amery Ice Shelf.
Bo Sun graduated from Xi’an Jiaotong University and got his Ph. D from Lanzhou Institute of Glaciology and Cryology (LIGG), Chinese Academia of Sciences. He has worked at Polar Research Institute of China for over 20 years. He is an Antarctic glaciologist, who specializes in polar cryosphere science and geophysical survey of the polar ice sheet, ice shelf and sea ice. His current research is on ice sheet stability, subglacial environment, ice sheet/ice shelf-ocean interaction, polar cryosphere remote sensing and polar extreme engineering.
